  • We have a unique role where the candidate will get deal with external GitHub community issues and work closely with the internal SW Developers for resolution.
  • You will reproduce the ROCm issues reported by GitHub community end users.
  • You will get to work with SW Developers from worldwide AMD R amp;D sites.
  • You will have an opportunity to work with ML Framework, e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX-Runtime
  • You will have an opportunity to work directly on different AMD AI HW Portfolio products with ROCm.
  • You have an opportunity to communicate with end users and contribute to the resolution of GitHub community issues.
THE PERSON
  • We are seeking someone who is passionate about AI in AMD
  • Attention to details and ability to follow instructions properly
  • Likes to play with hardware
  • Has demonstrated skills in building/maintaining PCs (preferred)
  • Able to work patiently and with minimum supervision
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work closely with GitHub community end users to reproduce their issues
  • Communicate with end users on issue status from ticket creation to resolution
  • Reproduce reported issues internally at AMD site for next level debug
  • Work closely with internal SW Developers during issue triage and debug
  • Provide status update to upper management
WHAT YOU #39;LL LEARN
  • Exposure to AMD AI HW Products with ROCm
  • Exposure to ML Framework, e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX-Runtime
  • Exposure to AI Ecosystem SW, e.g. HuggingFace, Triton, JAX
  • End-to-end GitHub community end users support
  • Enhanced communications, presentation skills for upper management
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer support role
  • Interest or experience in Machine Learning and AI
  • Knowledge of ROCm SW stack, GPU Programming
  • Python, PowerShell, or any scripting experience
  • Willing and patience to reproduce reported issues
  • Approach problem analysis methodically

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
