Job TitleLead Warehouse AssociateJob Description SummaryThe Warehouse Lead is responsible for providing operational support for our client’s storage systems across the portfolio. This individual is responsible for assisting with storing, retrieving, and delivering inventory upon request. Administers all functions to ensure timely accurate product receipt, order fulfillment, and the optimization of resources and processes while operating within budget. This position will partner with other forklift drivers and offer direction when needed. This individual will work directly with MAC Team, Global Support, and Operation Support Technicians.Job DescriptionHandle and deliver items on demand and as requested in the warehouseMaintain high levels of accuracy in day to day operations while providing high level of customer service to our clientsCommunicate with Moving, furniture, telecom, and IT support as required for large scale, complex, and detailed ongoing projectsAdhere to all company (and client) rules and regulationsHandle all Customer Service requests promptly and resolve issues and escalations quicklyIdentify resources needed, requesting support as neededEnsure project documents are prepared and maintainedProvide direction to vendors and partners to ensure satisfactory project completionInform management of all perceived risks to the successful completion of the project, and obtain decisions and approval from management on changes to project scope, design, schedule and costParticipate in team meetings as requiredMay oversee equipment and request repairs when neededKEY COMPETENCIESProven Warehouse storage and storage skillsCommunication Proficiency (oral and written)Customer FocusSense of UrgencyMulti-TaskingDetail OrientedTime Management SkillsTeam OrientationRequirements3+ years of Warehouse experienceAbility to operate a forkliftProven knowledge of warehouse policies and proceduresExcellent problem solving skillsAbility to work with all levels of staffDemonstrated customer/vendor relationship building experienceExcellent oral or written communication skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to travel approximately 50% locally through campusPhysical RequirementsInvolves work of a general office and warehouse function; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a dayRequires the ability to lift 40 poundsMay involve long days of walking buildings, taking pictures as requiredMay involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scannerRegularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and typeAbility to move easily through campusAbility to speak clearly so others can understand youAbility to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writingAbility to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understandRegularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displaysCushman & Wakefield provides equal employment opportunity.
