Please see our website link for an in-depth look at our facility and shop environment.Duties and responsibilities:You will have a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• General fabrication shop clean-up to maintain a safe and neat environment
• Cleaning of welded surfaces (Mechanical / Abrasive)
• Shipping and Receiving Support
• Handle and transfer fabrication materials and purchased components.
• Safe Use/Operation of forklifts, cranes and other equipment related to job requirements
• Good health and mobility to perform the physical demands of the job.
• Ability to stand for extended durations and lift items by hand (30-40lbs)
• Occasional Confined Space work activities
• Familiarity with small hand tools and basic carpentry skills would be an asset.
• Good communication skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• No experience necessary but warehouse, mechanical background would be considered an asset.
• All required training and PPE supplied by AWC.

Health / Quality Responsibilities:

• Immediately report any accidents or incidents and cooperate in their investigation.
• Cease work when conditions are unsafe and report them to management.
• Maintain orderly and clean work areas.
• Use and maintain safety equipment, work tools, and personal protective equipment as required.
