Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areasMeasure, cut and install sidingErect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sitesMix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphaltAssist tradespersons such as carpenters, bricklayers, and cement finishers, in construction activitiesMeasure cut and prepare wood framing for installationAssist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activitiesLevel earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovelAssist in demolishing buildings and floors using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materialsRemove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment to keep site cleanOperate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directedTend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumpsClean up mold as well as remove asbestos and other hazardous materials as requiredPerform other activities at construction sites, as directed.RequirementsPunctualDrug and Alcohol testing is requiredAttention to detailCan work independent and part of a teamStrong math skillsDrivers licence is an assetAble to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.Ability to work safely and always wear PPE and follow safety regulationsCan operate power tools and hand tools safelyClean and organizedBenefitsExtended medical and dental after 3 months.RRSP matching 2000 per year after 6 months.Please apply directly to this websitegt; gt; gt; https://jobs.immigrate.biz/job-board/jobs/533/construction-helper/kamloops-bc
