Hirez Manpower Solutions is proud to partner with a leading concrete formwork contractor in the Okanagan region to recruit experienced Formwork Carpenters for exciting, large-scale residential and commercial construction projects. Our partner has earned a strong reputation for delivering quality formwork for high-rises, parkades, and architectural concrete structures throughout British Columbia.We are looking for dependable, safety-conscious tradespeople who are ready to grow their careers with a reputable and busy construction team.Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate material requirements
• Build and dismantle wood and metal forms for concrete slabs, walls, columns, and beams
• Install formwork systems using hand and power tools
• Ensure alignment, elevation, and dimensions of formwork
• Place safety barriers and follow all safety protocols on-site
• Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to meet project timelines
• Participate in site clean-up and assist in handling materials

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in concrete formwork
• Experience with industry-standard formwork systems (Peri, Doka, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction layouts
• Strong understanding of construction safety procedures
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and at heights
• Certification in Working at Heights and WHMIS (preferred)
