Job duties:Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate and implement new proceduresAdvise job applicants on employment requirements to management for consideration. Establish work priorities, delegate work to office support staff, and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followedCarry out administrative activities associated with construction, HR and safety. Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and transfers, redeployment and placement of personnelAdminister policies and procedures related construction activities in relation to the projects that are being worked on as well as in preparation for future projects. Coordinate and plan for office services, such as equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security servicesConduct analyses and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting, contracting and project planning and management processesAssist in preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controlsAssemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondenceMay supervise records management construction staff.Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate and implement new proceduresMay assist with prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post notices and advertisements, and collect and screen applicationsIf required advise job applicants on employment requirements to management for consideration. Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offersAdvise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures as required Set up and manage phone system for the company as well as answer phones. Assist with ensuring data for payroll is provided to the appropriate party.Keep company data up to dateOther duties that applyRequirementsMinimum 1 year of construction office administrative experience is required HR Officer Experience is as asset Punctual Attention to detailStrong customer service and communication skills Must have experience in the construction industryAbility to stay focused and organized in a fast pace environment Excellent computer skills Time management ability and prioritize tasks is criticalBenefitsN/ATo be successful in this role, applicants should have strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken.
