Qualifications:
  • Education and or experience in exercise programming required.
  • Previous experience working within a clinic setting as an Exercise Assistant for 1-3 years would be an asset.
  • Personal, friendly demeanor with excellent relationship-building skills.
Key functions and responsibilities:
  • Assisting clinicians with client care; including application of modalities, supervision and demonstration of exercise programs etc.
  • Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals.
  • Administrative duties, as required including scheduling, client screening, phone tasks etc.

  • Collecting outcome measure data
  • Maintenance, cleaning/sterilization of medical and exercise equipment, and clinical supplies.
  • Inventory of management clinical supplies
