Job Description

2022 Fair Facility CleanerWage: $17.75/hour (plus 4.5% in lieu of benefits and vacation)Dates: The PNE Fair runs from Saturday, August 20 – Monday, September 5Hours: The PNE Fair is open from 11AM – 11PMAvailability Requirements: Must be available for up to full-time hours (40 hours per week) including evenings, weekends, and late nights from August 20 – September 5.Why join our Fair Team

What will you do this yearIn your role as a Fair Facility Cleaner, your primary accountabilities will be to:
  • Ensure that assigned washrooms are maintained in a clean and tidy fashion at all times during the Fair.
  • Provide exceptional and friendly guest service.
  • Ensure PNE Uniform and Appearance policy is adhered to at all times.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
What else
  • Must have successfully completed Grade 11 by August 1, 2022.
  • Previous janitorial experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to arrange an effective work schedule under minimum supervision.
  • Must have sufficient physical strength, stamina and coordination to permit the performance of assigned tasks.
  • Must be capable of reading, writing and speaking in English for the purposes of written or oral instructions.
