Some client-facing roles may require being physically present from time to time.Who you are:We are seeking a highly organized, creative, detail oriented 3D visualization artist to join our growing team. You will be responsible for leading your own client projects as well as collaborating with other 3D artists to deliver high quality, optimized 3D models (~80% client supplied data) for use on VRIFY’s interactive mobile/web platform. Effective communication, excellent time management, a passion for learning and critical thinking skills will be key to your success.Candidates will collaborate with the 3D design team and ancillary departments to deliver technical visualizations that rely heavily on spatial accuracy and visual communication, guided by proven workflow processes. You must be nimble and prepared to implement feedback on short deadlines with the support of the 3D design team. You enjoy collaborating with industry experts and interpreting client data to deliver projects at a high standard.You should have:A background in 3D visualization, ideally in technically-focused industries (ie. engineering, architecture, mining/oil & gas, etc)Strong design principles that lean toward simplified and highly effective data visualizationExcellent time management, with the ability to juggle multiple projects to meet tight deadlinesProactive mindset, constantly thinking outside the box to employ creative solutionsExceptional communication skills: Mature, confident and sensitive to the needs of clients (internal and external) of all abilitiesA strong drive for continued learning and growthPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:Build and optimize 3D models for integration with VRIFY’s interactive web and mobile applicationsImport/Export client data using process-specific workflowsAnalyze client data and use critical thinking to guide decisions that will deliver an exceptional product for our clientsAdhere to brand style guidelines, templates and process workflows while collaborating with the 3D team to innovate and knowledge shareManage project deadlines and openly communicate with the 3D team and ancillary departments in support of successfully meeting these timelinesMonitor and organize tasks to prioritize projects appropriatelyRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year professional experience in 3D visualizationStrong generalist skills in 3D software applications, Cinema 4D (or equivalent), with emphasis on model optimizationProficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat ProProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExperience or working knowledge of AutoCAD, QGIS, Rhino, Google Earth ProA keen eye for 2D and 3D production and navigation, detail orientedAbility to work well and collaborate as part of a team as well as independentlyStrong aptitude for learning and developing expertise in new technologies and domainsStrong decision-making, multi-tasking, verbal/written communication, and analytical skillsBonus points if you have:Proven track record in a dynamic startup environmentExperience working with project management systems (ie. Asana)Project management experience/proven experience managing multiple simultaneous deliverablesWorking knowledge of Apple’s SceneKit, or other game engine environments such as Unity or Unreal EnginePrior experience with the Mining industry and/or GIS softwareEducation/Certification/License:BA Multimedia Design, Interactive Arts & Technology or similar preferredLocation:We have been operating as a remote first company since March 2020 and will continue to do so in the future as COVID restrictions ease.
