If you are a lifelong learner looking for an advancing and rewarding career, please read further to see what this job entails.The Opportunity!Reporting to the Operations Manager, the position of Account Relations Administrator is responsible for effectively managing day-to-day administrative duties related to underwriting, client service, and billing for the home warranty department.What you will do:Execute on the membership, licensing and renewal processes, builder enrolment and de-enrolment process, and Certificate of Possession (COP) process, including policy document issuance.Monitoring outstanding/overdue COP’s and follow-up with builder to ensure timely issuance of policy documents to homeowner.Develop and maintain an understanding of specified sections of the acts and regulations regarding home warranty insurance in the geographical area of responsibility.Ensuring accurate collection and maintenance of information in our data base.Working closely with our Underwriting and Sales team to support operational needs.Compile and organize incoming mail/email, supporting incoming calls and inquiries from clients and 3rd party vendors, and other customer service tasks as required.Special projects and all other duties as reasonably assigned.What you will bring:Level 1 or 2 General Insurance License or the willingness to obtain.Proficient technical skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other standard business software).Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize.Ability to work independently and within a team.Knowledge of land title registration systems or residential real estate lending or construction is not required, but would be considered an asset.Post-secondary education would be considered an asset.If this position sounds exciting and you think you would be a great fit, please apply with your cover letter and resume.
