Company descriptionAdventure Play Care Society is a non-profit that operates Rainforest Adventure Camps for kids and youth. These camps are entirely outdoors in and around the Tri-cities exploring some of the most beautiful forests, lakes, beaches, and rivers in the area. Our camps seek to further develop participants independence, leadership, empathy, resilience, and social growth in a fun, safe, and peaceful setting. We also run after-school and theatre programs with public performances. Our programs are child and youth-centred. Our mission is to inspire, empower, and create community.www.AdventurePlayCare.com.Job descriptionWe are seeking an experienced administrator that wishes to make a positive impact in the community. You are aligned with our values and are driven with purpose. You are kind, creative, efficient, reliable, dedicated, take initiative, and love to build relationships and community.The positions will include, but are not limited to:-corresponding with families-registering participants-creating social media posts-sharing photos and videos with families online-sharing our programs with the community-researching grant, funding, and development opportunities-recruiting volunteers-updating our websiteFull time- 40 hours per weekWhile the position will generally work from home, we are looking for staff that live locally. As this job is funded by Canada Summer Jobs, staff need to be between 18-30 years old and Canadian citizens or Permanent residents.Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, SeasonalSalary: From $15.65 per hourBenefits:
