Job Description

Administrative Assistant required for a Financial Planner who works in partnership with Sun Life Financial.Must be willing to have a flexible schedule Monday to Friday. This will start off with 20 hours a week for the first 2-3 months and then increase to 30-35 hours.Hours will be spread between weekdays. No weekend hours. Will mostly work from home with some time spent in the office.Looking for an individual who is interested in financial services, focused on providing exceptional client service and looking for a long term position where they can grow.$17/hour during 3 month probationary period; then $19-$20/hour depending on experience. Bonuses will be available and aligned with Advisor production.The ideal candidate would be interested in growing out of an administrative assistant role into an associate advisor role. You would be able to learn the industry from an established successful advisor. The timeline to move into an associate position would be 1-3 years. Pay would increase alongside an increase in responsibilities.Responsibilities: You will be responsible for client service strategies and client maintenance. Primary roles listed below:

  • Client calls for a variety of reasons: Annual reviews, Meeting Reminders etc.
  • Scan & Fax client documents
  • Implement client service strategies & processes
  • Maintain a record of all client interactions & activities on SalesForce
  • Answer the phone when in the office
  • Complete basic service work for client accounts (ex: address changes)
  • Act within all compliance guidelines
  • File and organize client records
Job Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
  • Highly organized and flexible
  • Ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines
  • Must be self directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
  • Maintains confidentiality
  • Working knowledge of email, and scheduling
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Superior verbal and written English Communication skills.
  • Proficient with Outlook, MS Word and Excel.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Previous experience with SalesForce is an advantage
You will be working from your home and occasionally out of a professional office located at Granville & Broadway.Job Type: Part-timePart-time hours: 20-35 per weekSalary: $19.00-$20.00 per hourSchedule:
