Job Description

Handy Appliances is a retailer, servicer & installer of home appliances and parts. We have been in business since 1975. We have 2 locations Vancouver & Squamish. We provide exceptional products, services and value to our appliance customers. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join the organization.Install, service and repair household appliances such as washer, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, ovens etc.This entails disassembling the appliance, cleaning internal parts as needed, replace any faulty or worn out parts and reassemble.This position is for a person who has experience with technical knowledge of major appliances, has knowledge of electrical wiring and will consult manufacturer’s service manual when needed.Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose faults using, Refer to schematic or product manuals to repair parts and equipment.
  • Possess extremely organizational, time management, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Demonstrate a high level of electrical and mechanical aptitude
  • Extremely dependable
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift 60 lbs.
  • Be able to maneuver equipment to in order to perform all mechanical services.
  • Valid Driver license, must provide a clean drivers abstract upon request
  • Very punctual and dependable.
  • Must be willing to wear Company provided uniform.
Must be able to work as a dedicated team member to ensure fast, flexible and expert service to every customer. Will also have to work Independently at times.Work in a safe and responsible manner to avoid injuries, damages to property, loss of unused parts.Detailed completion of all necessary paperwork, including work orders and service orders. Must be able to order parts and track inventory.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per yearBenefits:
