The interview process for this position will be entirely remote, with the expectation that the successful candidate will begin remote and eventually transition to working out of the Vancouver office once normal operations resume.QualificationsA graduate with a diploma or degree of a recognized university related to discipline or studies of computer science and/or software development.You have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in application support, software development, and/or DevOps.Familiar with software engineering processes and software development lifecycle.You are proficient in the Java programming language, familiar with cloud and Linux/Unix environments..A critical thinker.Passionate about operations and support experience.A technology-oriented person with experience working with a customer-facing technical team.Willing to learn — technology, business, finance, entrepreneurship.Knowledge of JavaScript is an asset.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Operations and Engineering teams.Accept assignments from the team lead.Share your knowledge with your teammates in their journey for smooth operations and excellent support.Apply your knowledge and experiences for defects, troubleshooting, triaging, etc and improving them.You will be building monitoring tools and alerting.
