The transaction will enhance the resources and potential of the business storage solutions, including client and enterprise SSDs, in the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big data.This is an exciting time to be at Intel - come join our ASIC Formal Verification team as an ASIC Formal Verification Co-op and work on one of the most advanced 3DNAND and SSD technology portfolios in the world. As the global leader in the semiconductor industry, Intel possesses many industry-leading SSD technologies including the most capable Quadruple Level Cell (QLC) NAND Flash products. As an ASIC Formal Verification Co-op, you will be part of a world-class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at SK Hynix.This position aligns to Phase 1 of the transaction, which includes the 3DNAND enterprise and client SSD business. Phase 1 is expected to close in late 2021, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. At deal close, all employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition to SK Hynix.A co-op term with Intel of Canadas Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group. is a challenging but rewarding experience, allowing you to gain knowledge and experience in design and test of IC and module products for the next generation of Solid State Drives (SSDs). Can you think of the possibilitiesThe Vancouver ASIC team develops SoCs that are the brains of next generation Intel OptaneTM and NAND Solid State Drives, powering the cloud and data centres around the world. As part of the ASIC formal verification team, you will use state of the art tools based on mathematical methodologies to verify complex digital designs, and locate difficult to find bugs that escape mainstream verification methods. Formal verification is an emerging verification methodology that is being adopted by every major SoC design company. In this position you have an opportunity to learn and contribute in this exciting new area.Employees are encouraged to work remotely due to Covid-19, all new hire orientations will be done virtually. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.Minimum Qualifications:

• You must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related field

Minimum 3+ months of experience in:

• General knowledge of digital logic concepts
• Debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Digital Logic Design (Verilog, SystemVerilog, SVA preferred)
• Experience with Linux based software development and testing
• Knowledge/Experience of formal verification a strong plus
• Low level scripting (TCL, Python) is useful
• Experience on Object Oriented programming
