You will support the Lodge Manager managing the facility. You will manage a team of culinary, housekeeping, and maintenance personal, all dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients and guests. Transportation is provided to site.The Assistant Lodge Manager, reporting to the Lodge Manager, will assist with the overall operations, logistics, food services, contracts, environmental and maintenance.The Assistant Lodge Manager will provide Management of the facility when the Lodge Manager is on days off.Everyone pitches in - this position will also involve driving, snow clearing, housekeeping and janitorial duties when both the Lodge Manager and the Assistant Lodge Manager on at site at the same time.Your work will include:Work closely with the Lodge Manager in leading and coordinating overall operations;Identify, develop, and implement site strategies, challenge assumptions underlying each site’s operations, and ensure that operations are in compliance with policies and procedures;Ensure operational efficiencies and productivity goals are outlined and realized;Service the client by ensuring the highest quality facilities and services are provided to clients, owners and residentsDemonstrate a commitment to excellent customer satisfaction; develop systems and practices to consistently measure and monitor satisfaction levelsMaintain a human resources strategy that ensures human capital is attracted, retained and utilized at its highest levels;Demonstrate the ability to critically review and assess current operations with the objective for constant improvement.Additional duties and responsibilities may be requiredQualificationsWHO ARE WE LOOKING FORPreferably a post-secondary education in business or management.2+ years of progressive supervisory/management role in hospitality, food service or related industry.Experience in the Camps and Catering and/or oil and gas industry is an asset.Must be a strong leader with focus on people management.Additional InformationDexterra Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
