Job Description

About the JobCalabrios Vancouver Development Team is looking for an Associate Manager. The person in this role will manage a cross-functional team of talented software, test, and quality assurance engineers, and will be a crucial driver of quality and best practices across the Development Organization.What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide leadership during all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Collaborate across Calabrio with multiple business units including Product, Support. Architecture, and Operations, within a high-performing Agile environment
  • Support and foster the professional development of team members
  • Attract, maintain, and coach a high-performing team by setting meaningful goals, providing regular performance feedback, and championing a growth mindset
  • Oversee and participate in the team’s contribution towards product requirements, acceptance criteria, and business impact
RequirementsMust Haves:
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of relevant software development experience
  • At least 2 years of experience with technical and/or people leadership and mentorship of software development teams
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in partnership with other business units and development teams
  • Experience with enterprise Java development
  • Experience working with cloud tools with a DevOps mindset
Nice to Haves:
  • Experience implementing and supporting public and private APIs, enterprise integrations, orchestration layers and ETL solutions
  • Experience with AWS, Rabbit MQ, Kafka, Jenkins or other similar cloud, messaging and continuous integration tools
