Breka Bakery and Cafe is hiring for Baker/Pastry decorator at our all Downtown and Kitsilano locations!SHIFTS & HOURS:7-8hours shifts between 7am and 11pm, 2-5days/week*Open schedule is required including WEEKENDS and HOLIDAYSJOB DESCRIPTION:-slicing and decorating various cakes-filling up the pastry showcase-finishing various baked items such as glazing, piping etc-maintaining a clean and organized working stationREQUIREMENTS:- Hard-working and high energy is a must- Must be able to lift heavy equipment 50lbs/25kg- Must be responsible and be dependable to show up for all shifts- Positive attitude and able to take direction well- Self-motivated and can work independently but in a team as well- Understand work efficiency well and thrive to improve the productivity - Passionate to produce high quality products consistently- Must be available to work EVENING, WEEKENDS and HOLIDAYSCOMPENSATION:Starting Wage $17.75/hr, Wage increase available based on performance.- 3 months’ Probation period- Extended health benefit is available for Full time employee after completing 6 months- Employee discount at all Breka Bakery storesPlease submit your resume via email, looking forward to seeing you!
