Job Description

Are you passionate about coffee and the cafe experience Our team at Deville Coffee Waterfront is growing and were looking to add new team members!Located conveniently across the street from Waterfront Station in downtown Vancouver, Deville Coffee is locally owned and renowned across Western Canada for its direct trade coffee, specialty lattes and espresso drinks. We have a fun, high-energy team, and believe that customer service is the most important product we serve. Combined, our mission is to provide the most genuine and welcoming experience for everyone that walk through our doors.As a barista/all-rounder, duties & responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Welcoming customers in a courteous manner, answering questions about our menu and accepting orders at the point of sale.
  • Preparing and serving drinks, baked goods and food items following Deville Coffee recipes and standards.
  • Following set procedures for food handling, cleaning and re-stocking BOH & FOH areas, in line with health and safety protocols.
We are hiring for full-time positions. An open/flexible availability (able to work early morning shifts) is valued, as well as being comfortable in fast-paced/busy environments. Previous barista or food service experience is appreciated, but not required – we train successful candidates and most importantly, are looking for self-motivated learners that bring a positive attitude to work every day.Wages start at $16.00/hour + tips. Team members are also eligible for a free gym membership at our on-site gym, along with free coffee drinks per shift and other cafe discounts.If you excel at working in a team setting with a knack for customer service (and a love of coffee), we want to talk to you!
