POSITION OVERVIEWAs a Bartender, you are responsible for beverage service directly with the customer and through our servers. As a key member of the service team, you prepare and serve beverages (non-alc, beers, wines and spirits) with a focus on quality, consistency and accuracy. You will also maintain a clean working and service environment, and communicate well with colleagues, leadership and guests, and operate according to our high standards of professionalism, including abiding by serving sizes, recipes, operating procedures, and the legal framework Bar responsibilities include managing inventory and ordering, training and guiding others. A highly visible team member and an ambassador of our brand, you are guided by and live our Company’s values: Be Real, Have Fun, Own It, and Grow With Us.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMaintains an enjoyable, supportive, respectful and professional working environment that inspires the highest standards in guest experience, and encourages return customers;Delivers the highest level of service quality, including making drinks to recipe, maintaining a clean working and service environment, and working efficiently and collaboratively to support others areas of operations (servers, BOH, security, leadership)Maintains all products required by the bar: beer, wine, spirits, juices, glassware, consumables etc; supports leadership to maintain accurate inventory of same to ensure product availability at all timesMaintains awareness and control within liquor cost targets, including nightly spillage tracking;Rotation of inventory (particularly craft beer) to reflect seasonal and trend changesMaintains awareness of and adhere to prevailing legal requirements (Serving It Right, Company Policies and standard operating procedures, including but not limited to prohibition of free-pouring and consumption of alcoholic beverages while workingREQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCEPrevious bartending experience (3 years minimum)Knowledge of appropriate statutory regulations and guiding principles including but not limited to Liquor Act, local bylaws governing bars/pubs/restaurantsProven ability to communicate effectively and resolve patron issues in a professional, consistent mannerCommitted to continuous improvement and professional developmentPassion for customer service and working collaboratively to provide a first-class guest experiencePREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCEProduct knowledge appropriate to venue and client profileInterest in craft beer and beverage industry trends appropriate to venue and client profileEnjoys a lively environment and fast-paced work environment~~~~~~~Our team reflects the community we serve.
