Job Description

Behaviour Interventionist (Vancouver, East)If you enjoy playing with children and want to learn to teach, or even better, look to become a professional in special education, heres your jam!What youll do:A consultant in our agency is looking for behaviour interventionists to conduct interventions for our client in Vancouver, East, BC. You will be teaching the child communications, play and social skills based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a creative Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our clients are located in different lower mainland cities, with an immediate requirement for new BIs.A little bit about you: We are looking for somebody who would like to work in this field or a related field on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate is reliable, energetic, fun, patient, and very enthusiastic about working with children. Some experience working with children with autism is highly preferred.

  • Youre fluent in English (If you speak a second language, thats even better!).
  • Youre 19 years of age or older (and can work legally in Canada).
  • Youre a team player.
  • Youre willing to commit to a minimum 18-month term.
  • You accept periodic wage adjustments based on your performance.
