Job Description

We are seeking a bilingual Digital Strategist who is fluent in English and French to join our team. You will work collaboratively with the Digital Marketing team to define and execute tailored digital strategies. Youre a skilled, well-rounded digital marketing pro with several years of experience managing a portfolio of clients and developing comprehensive multi-channel marketing strategies. You should not have any difficulty managing, presenting, or reporting to clients. There will always be a space provided to our employees to work outside of their homes, but the expectation is that you will work remotely.Key ResponsibilitiesOn a day-to-day basis, you will perform the following tasks:

  • Work across English-first and French-first accounts
  • Run strategy sessions/client calls
  • Monitor and optimize your client’s organic performance
  • Implement cutting-edge paid advertising campaigns
  • Maintain data quality and implement tracking
  • Provide data-driven insights
  • Work with our production team to create stunning websites and digital experiences
  • Contribute to process and service development
  • Develop industry-specific expertise.
RequirementsAnalytics & TrackingYou:
  • Really know your way around Google Analytics. Bonus points if you’re on your way to becoming a Google Analytics 4 whizz
  • Understand how to present data to clients with varying levels of digital marketing knowledge, and are able to cut through the noise to present them with the information they need to make business decisions
  • Are familiar with Google Tag Manager and are comfortable with cross-domain and eCommerce tracking
  • Have experience identifying and resolving tracking errors
SEOYou:
  • Are able to build a multi-faceted SEO strategy and tweak it on an ongoing basis
  • Have a good understanding of search engine algorithms and white hat techniques
  • Have the ability to oversee the technical implementation and migration of websites from the perspective of search engine optimization
  • Have a strong understanding of content and its effect on organic rankings; however, content creation is not a requirement of this role
  • Have experience identifying and resolving technical SEO errors
  • Have experience with local SEO
  • Are familiar with SEO tools including SEMrush and Google Search Console
Paid AdvertisingYou:
  • Have experience developing, managing, and reporting on paid advertising campaigns
  • Have experience with search, display, social, and video advertising
  • Are able to develop and implement strategies that leverage the right tools at the right time to create highly-optimized funnels
  • Understand the importance of copy and assets and have experience creating and testing a variety of creative
  • Understand the value of reaching the right audience, but not necessarily the largest one
  • Are familiar with best practice management techniques that take into account the latest features and tools of industry-standard platforms
  • Can speak to changes that have been made by Facebook and Google in the past few months and years in regards to targeting options and third-party data
Conversion Rate OptimizationYou:
  • Understand how to identify friction points on a website or in the customer journey
  • Have experience setting up and running A/B and multivariate testing
  • Have collaborated closely with developers and project managers to ensure continuous improvement of websites and digital experiences
  • Are comfortable working with tools such as Microsoft Clarity, Crazy Egg, Hotjar, and Google Optimize
Bonus points for:
  • Experience with advertising on hospitality industry-specific platforms such as TripAdvisor, OTAs (Expedia, Booking.com) and metasearch
  • Experience with industry-specific technology (SynXis, TravelClick, Revinate, The Hotels Network, TripTease, HotelChamp, etc.)
  • Google certifications (Analytics, Google Ads Search/Display/Video, etc.)
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Additional language skills (i.e. Spanish or French)
  • Experience with Google Data Studio, Google Cloud Platform or Stitch
  • Training or supervising junior colleagues
  • Knowledge of privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA

Benefits
  • Salary range of $60,000 - $68,000
  • Bonus program - exceptional performance and individual results rewarded by managers
  • Profit share - 10% of profits are distributed to non-executive employees, and 10% to executives
  • Flexible working hours and days (however partial Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings will be required)
