Job Description

Bookkeeper (Part-time, Contractor, Freelancer)About usKM Pacific Investments Inc. is a Japanese commercial real estate development and investment company located in downtown Vancouver. We believe that its our mission to contribute our Japanese clients to build long-term assets through overseas real estate management by placing importance on trusting relationships with investors. Due to the expansion of our business, we are looking for a part-timer, contractor or freelancer in bookkeeping who will contribute to the success of our business.Primary duties will include:

  • Bank account reconciliations
  • Reconcile credit card’s transaction
  • Entry daily transaction into QBO
  • Any correcting journal entries proposed by CPA will need to be reviewed, approved, and posted into QBO
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian Tax Act and other applicable financial laws
  • Post monthly journal entries and account reconciliation
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date GST, PST for annual filing
  • Provide CPAs with the necessary documents and information in a timely manner to ensure smooth Year End closing.

Compensation: $400 - $500 a month($20-25 /hour)Based on experienceWork schedule:
  • 20 hours per month
  • 3 months is a probationary period. Compensation is the same
Work Remotely: PartialQualification:
  • Must be able to legally work in Canada for at least one year
  • More than 3 years in bookkeeping
  • 3 years in Quickbooks
  • Bookkeeping / accounting experience in both GAAP and US GAAP are assets
