Job DescriptionResponsibilities: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Building Service Worker will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all building areas as well as meeting room setups and exercise equipment placement. The building includes a Fitness Centre, Child Care, Rooftop Garden, Administration area, Laundry facilities, and public meeting areas. Duties include routine, manual light to heavy work and requires the ability to carry, pull, push, lift and move equipment, furniture and other objects throughout their daily routines. Other duties as required.Qualifications: The successful candidate will have building service training and/or certification, and experience in janitorial maintenance. Knowledge and experience in fitness centre and pool management is preferred. As this position requires substantial interaction with our members, good interpersonal skills are a must. A valid clear criminal record check (including working with vulnerable populations) is required.
