Job Description

Business Analyst, Oracle FinancialsWe are looking for a Business Analyst, Oracle Financials to join our team based in Burnaby, BC, to work alongside the Finance team to resolve support issues and take part in designing and implementing system enhancements.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering exceptional customer support for the end-users of Finance applications
  • Providing expertise troubleshooting and resolving functional issues
  • Supplying the development team with detailed requirements and conducting required QA testing
  • Understanding end-to-end business processes, and finding opportunities to improve operational efficiency
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting the Oracle Financials suite of modules.
  • A deep knowledge of, and significant hands-on experience with Oracle AP, AR, GL, FA, Payments and Cash Management
  • Experience with the application set up and configuration of Oracle R12.1.3 or R12.2
  • A good understanding of the underlying database tables, interfaces, and data relationships to other Oracle Application modules.
  • Basic technical skills necessary to help developers design solutions according to specifications
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, and a keen ability to present ideas in clear and user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated and self-directed, with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Must be reliable and flexible in response to dynamic work demands, deadline oriented, self-managed and able to act on own where circumstances dictate
