Role: Business Communications Instructor, Evening ProgramReports to: Director of TrainingLocation: Vancouver, BC (on campus)Description:Greystone College Vancouver is seeking part-time and contracted instructors for evening classes: Mondays to Thursdays 5:30 pm PST to 9:00 pm PST, possibly leading to permanent positions.Job Duties:The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:Deliver instruction that follows established program curriculumPrepare subject materials for presentation to students in an interactive and student-centered environment on-line (Zoom or Teams), in person in the classroom, and/or hybridApply learning strategies and techniques to classes of 15 30 international students with an intermediate level of EnglishProvide individual feedback and direction to students throughout the programEvaluate and document student progressKeep abreast of current industry practicesOther duties as assignedEssential Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:Provincial Instructor Diploma or equivalent or minimum 2 years teaching experienceOne of the following is required:Diploma or degree in in Business, Communications, or Project Management and minimum 2 years industry experience10 years industry-related experience in the areas of business, communications, project management, soft skills coaching and customer relationsPreference will be given to candidates with the following:Experience in Learning Management System (Moodle) an assetExperience in TESOL international students a strong assetContact Information:We kindly ask that applications be submitted on the Career Centre only as we do not accept fax or mail applications and request that you do not phone.
