Rival TechnologiesCurrently in hyper-growth, Rival Technologies is looking for a Business Development Associate to join our growing team. This role is responsible for providing clients with the correct solution to boost growth of our organization, increase customer acquisition levels and profitability. The ideal candidate is someone who has a natural ability to persuade, negotiate, and close new business in a complex professional industry.Reporting directly to the CRO (get to know her here), this role is arguably one of the most important in our business.You generate leads, book meetings and act as the primary point of contact for almost all of our prospects. The vast majority of our pipeline is generated by your efforts. At the same time, for most this role is a critical step in your professional evolution. Succeed as a BDA and chances are you’ll be stepping into an account executive role in a year or two. As much as we want the leads, we want you to stay with us over the long term.   • Supporting a strategic account model by identifying and qualifying leads.
  • Generating a high volume, high quality outreach cadence.
  • Setting up calls and running the intro meetings.
  • Demonstrating an exceptional drive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Being highly organized in planning and implementing both strategic and tactical aspects of the sales process.
  • Consistently performing a variety of demand generation activities, including making phone calls, sending emails, using LinkedIn and attending or prospecting into conferences.
  • Working closely with more senior members of the sales team.
Who You Are:
  • You have 1+ years of business development experience - preferably in tech or at SaaS company.
  • You are able to demonstrate product knowledge.
  • You exhibit curiosity, intellect, magnetism and hunger for results.
  • You’re tenacious and don’t give up when facing challenges.
  • You have the ability to adapt and look for different solutions.
  • You’re highly organized and disciplined in order to achieve results.
  • You have a positive can-do attitude in a challenging environment.
  • You’re an excellent communicator (both written and oral) and understand the importance of ongoing and proactive communications and closing the loop.
  • You have a strong track record of excellence in education or work.
  • You have a personal history of interest in sales, marketing or entrepreneurship.
  • You have a University or college degree (preferred, but not required).
