We are the exclusive designer, manufacturer and distributor of some of the most recognized brands in the industry, including: Red Eye Glass, GEAR Premium, Cheech & Chong Glass, Red Eye Tek, LIT Silicone, iRie and Retro Glass.Continually growing and expanding, we now offer an exciting opportunity for a confident and motivated person to join our sales team in the role of Business Development Manager.This dynamic business development position is responsible for growing West Coast Gifts business within the dispensary, head shop and distribution channels globally. We offer a competitive salary plus monthly bonus pay structure, with unlimited earning potential to recognize and reward strong performance.The right candidate for this role is entrepreneurial, well networked, smart, professional, polished, strategic, client oriented and has a passion for growing their own business. A big-picture thinker, they find value in building relationships and finding creative ways to build new business. This is an office-based opportunity for an individual who is a top performer in B2B sales with a proven track record of closing new accounts. Hard working, passionate hunters who have experience selling directly to owners and purchasers in the cannabis accessories wholesale or distribution channels is a plus.Primary responsibilities include identifying and developing new and existing referral sources to develop successful referring relationships, actively identifying and generating prospects through strategic sales strategies focusing on customers in target markets, hitting revenue goals, maintaining good working relationships with existing clients previously to enhance client retention and new sales through referrals and references.The successful candidate has exceptional relationship building and communication skills to effectively assess customer needs and present appropriate solutions to support both revenue growth and retention.As a trusted advisor, our Business Development Manager assists customers in navigating the ever-changing world of cannabis and acts as an advocate internally. This person researches the competitive environment and uses product knowledge and data analysis to generate creative and unique solutions to meet customer needs and business objectives.Responsibilities:

  • Prospects new clients to expand market share in each channel.
  • Responds to and resolves customer inquiries timely and effectively.
  • Creates and effectively communicates compelling value proposals to potential customers.
  • Participates in daily team meetings and all training sessions.
  • Converts leads into deliverable opportunities.
  • Consistently hits target of 30 new door openings per month.
Qualifications:
  • Prior business development experience, specifically in the B2B segment.
  • Cannabis knowledge preferred; passion required.
  • Experience using Google and MS Office, preferred.
  • Bachelors Degree or International equivalent, preferred.
  • Energetic and goal-focused sales professional with solid qualifications in large account management and client relationship building.
  • Confident and poised in interactions, a persuasive communicator and assertive negotiator with strong deal closing abilities.
  • Demonstrated success developing a sales plan, generating leads and managing prospects.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet defined metrics in a strategic and consultative sales position.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required.
  • Must be able to travel 20% of the time which may include travel throughout Canada and USA for trade shows.
  • Agile with an ability to prioritize and self-manage within a growth-oriented company.
  • Desire for continuous learning and growth.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to work. professionally in cross functional teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability with a self-motivated attitude.
