You feed off the energy of the team around you and enjoy working closely with a suite of equally gifted professionals.A Cel Animator / Illustrator’s ImpactAssist in the production of animated assets on behalf of the Content & Production team at Hyper HippoHelp create a library of character illustrations that depict all of Hyper Hippo’s gaming propertiesWork collaboratively with other Motion Artists and Illustrators to create best-in-class character animations, and develop animated shorts, longer form videos, and other digital advertisements for Hyper Hippo audiencesIntegrating images, characters, etc into background graphicsSyncing visuals with audio and voiceover tracksPreparing all character animation elements for compositing, including delivering in set formatsEnhancing animation with special effects at post-production stagePartner with the Games team on larger animation and design projectsYour Track Record Includes3+ years of experience in a related roleProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Illustrator, Animate, or other 2D animation software are crucial (Any other 2D/3D software experience a plus)Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experienceTeam player who can work cross-functionally within a creative organizationAn understanding of best design practices for social mediaCommunicate productively with other animators, leads, designers, and directorsHighly organized self-starter who can handle multiple projects while juggling priorities and timelinesA love for, or knowledge of, the mobile or console game industryExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEnjoys collaborating with a small, creative teamHyper Hippo Welcomes Everyone to Apply!Hyper Hippo is an equal opportunity employer and we celebrate every single person and what makes them unique.
