• Join the fastest growing CG Animation studio in Vancouver

-CG SUPERVISOR

• Overview:
  • CG Supervisors work with every team member to ensure that the department is running at its maximum proficiency. They work with the heads of all departments, problem solving for current and future shows at the highest possible level.

• Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for on time delivery and quality of the show
  • Have great understanding of tools, workflows, shows and team members
  • Choose the best matching team members for shows
  • Maintain a complete understanding of everything happening on the show
  • Predict show difficulties and be proactive with finding solutions
  • Communicate key points from meetings to the team
  • Oversee the communication between production and show leads
  • Work closely with modeling, rigging, anim, shot finaling, fx lighting and compositing supervisors
  • Find common issues in shows and bring them up in department meetings
  • Prioritize development for current and future shows
  • Have a good artistic eye for detail

• Qualifications:
  • Impeccable communication skills
  • Being calm and strong under pressure
  • Proficient in Maya / Nuke
  • Proficient in Python
  • Strong knowledge and experience with dynamic systems, eg: nCloth and nHair
