Job Description

*This role is a Hybrid role and will be based out of our beautiful new office in Railtown, Vancouver*Who We AreStratford Underwriting is a BC based MGA who represents Everest Insurance Company of Canada. We are a licensed general agent and claims adjudication agency delivering a wide range of general insurance products and services through its brokers – We currently offer Stratford private auto in BC and the Motomaxx Replacement Product in BC.What Were Looking ForAn exceptional communicator with outstanding customer service to join our claims team as a Claims Administrator.What Youll Be Working On

  • Customer Service: Have exceptional communication skills, and a strong ability to work within a team setting
  • Claims Administration: Ability to handle a high-volume workload and be flexible to changing business needs. Review and pay invoices, process claims cheques, prepare and monitor subrogation packages, assist with managing the customer survey program, amongst other tasks
  • Continuous Improvement: Always taking the initiative to improve and succeed. Use the resources available to be the best at what you do. Have an excellence mentality and understand that mediocrity is not the goal

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Some combination of coursework in administration or insurance and/or experience in an office setting
  • Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
