The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the PR and Communications processes, channels and requirements. A proven ability with written, promotional and monitored releases, has worked with journalists, understands urgent timelines and needs of media requests and coverage.What you’ll need:A proven ability to maintain the Communications calendar of key announcements, events, activations to ensure leadership has an accurate and up-to-date view at all times of Communications deliverables.Strong background in leading projects for every announcement and event.Ability to provide support to PR agencies and internal Nexii spokespeople to ensure they have what they need for any media outreach/interviews/events.A proven strength in providing support to PR agencies as needed (e.g. sending branded/approved assets for media, confirming availability of Nexii spokespeople, chasing down quotes/approvals for releases/statements)Liaising on a continuous basis with PR agencies for critical updates/confirmation of timelines in hitting targets for key deliverables (press releases, media outreach, events support)Being a strong support to mulitple facilities within Canada and the US around internal and external teams as we plan and launch eventsFinal thoughtsWe believe that diversity of thought and experience fuels innovation.
