LayerZero Labs Canada Inc. located at 999 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC, V6C 2W2, is currently recruiting a seasoned bi-lingual (English & Chinese) Community Manager to join the team. Revolutionizing the crypto-currency space, LayerZero’s vision is to create a community of cross-chain developers, building dApps that are no longer constrained by individual blockchain capabilities. With LayerZeros simple, generic messaging protocol, builders will develop cross-chain dApps designed to unify the power of individual blockchains. We have built and launched the first dApp, Stargate, a fully composable native asset bridge that will allow users to swap one asset to another securely and without additional fees.This is a full-time, permanent position starting as soon as possible. The position requires a minimum of 40 hours of work per week, offering a salary range between $175,000 to $200,000 per annum, plus bonuses and benefits including medical, vision and dental as well as company laptop. The successful candidate MUST have at least 5 years of experience in marketing/public relations within the financial and/or technology sector including a minimum of 6 months of experience specifically related to crypto currency markets.Responsibilities include the following:· Build and manage LayerZero’s reputation within the English and Chinese speaking developer communities through online social media channels· Develop, plan and implement communication campaigns and strategies with potential partners· Establish relationships with Chinese technology platforms and developers to drive adoption of LayerZero protocols· Liaise with various dApp teams to determine application details, integration requirements and timelines and translate community needs to front and back-end engineering teams· Coordinate with technical teams to plan, write, translate and monitor launch of social media campaigns and delivery of integration projects· Moderate, support and contribute to English & Chinese online forums through Discord and Telegram· Educate forum members in English and Chinese through digital engagement to build brand awareness and trust· Provide ongoing analysis of community engagement to collect, translate, and report feedback to technical teams to suggest improvements to protocols· Oversee the operations of the foundations that support the development of the protocols, including designing ecosystem programs· Plan and control the budget and expenditures of the foundationsRequirements and Qualifications:· Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing or Public Relations – Master’s degree preferred· Minimum 5 years of marketing/public relations experience within the financial and/or technology sectors· Minimum 6 months of marketing/public relations experience in the crypto currency and blockchain space· Must be able to communicate fluently in English and Chinese· Must have experience in a similar role with a technology start-upJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $175,000.00-$200,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
