Job Description

About Us: Atira Development Society builds, operates and maintains housing throughout the Lower Mainland to meet the need for safe, appropriate and affordable housing.About You: You are outgoing and love people, and will warmly welcome tenants and their guests and be the primary contact and resource for everyone entering the building. You are cheerful, resourceful and committed to excellent customer service.You have at least one year of customer service experience. Your previous experience including concierge, security or rental management puts your resume to the top of the pile. Your verbal and written English is excellent.About the Job: We have two rental buildings requiring staff for 24-hour concierge service.

  • Located at 41 East Hastings Street, Olivia Skye is a new rental development that opened in early 2018 with 198 studio and junior one-bedroom suites.
  • Located at 288 East Hastings Street, in Chinatown, The Anjok is a new rental development that just opened and is made up of 172 studio, one and two-bedroom suites.
Both buildings are located along a major transit route with bus stops within one block. Stadium and Main Skytrain Stations are a 10-15-minute walk.Positions Available: 1) Part-time weekend afternoons (3:45 pm to midnight) position. This part-time position is at The Anjok.2) Relief positions to cover shifts for staff when they are away (for example: on vacation, it's a statutory holiday or they're unwell). Shifts may be at either site, and include day, afternoon or overnight shifts, and may be partial shifts or full shifts (eight hours).Additional Requisites:
  • Awarding of all positions is subject to clearing a mandatory criminal records review.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality is mandatory.
