Date: Oct 9, 2022Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, CanadaCompany: Trans MountainThe Trans Mountain Expansion Project will provide increased capacity to support Canadian crude oil production growth and ensure access to global energy markets. The largest project in the pipeline’s history, it involves installing approximately 980 kilometres of new pipeline, as well as new and modified facilities.Trans Mountain is seeking Field Construction Managers with pipeline construction experience across various site locations in British Columbia. Field Construction Managers are responsible for the day-to-day oversight and management of the Expansion Project field support resources throughout the construction execution. They will ensure the successful execution, quality control, regulatory compliance, landowner relationships, and closure of the construction scopes by the Project Charter and Project Execution Plan. The Field Construction Manager interfaces with the General Construction Contractor (GCC) on a day-to-day basis to ensure Inspection, Safety and Environmental resources align with the daily planned field activities of the GCC. They will also be responsible for daily and weekly reporting of construction progress to the Project Manager and for assisting the Project Manager in maintaining schedule and cost objectives through interfacing with the GCC regularly.The role includes management of direct hire contractor resources in support of pipeline construction including field inspectors, logistical planning for camps, pipe yards, and construction laydowns, right-of-way access roads, and traffic management. The Field Construction Manager shall support all of the Owners objectives inclusive of Safety, Environmental Compliance, and Regulatory compliance through proactive planning and maintaining positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
