CONTENT CREATOR - IN OFFICE (YALETOWN) - KIDS TOYSAbacus Brands is a children’s toy company with a focus on educational products that promote creativity in kids through early learning and hands-on play! Our products utilize augmented and virtual reality to create immersive learning experiences, with our HQ in Yaletown!Our products can be found in Costco, Indigo, Walmart, Amazon and retailers around the world, and recently WINNER of the prestigious TOY OF THE YEAR award for best STEM Educational Toy 2022! We have also partnered with licenses like Bill Nye (The Science Guy), MasterChef Junior, Smithsonian, Penn & Teller, DK books and more as we push our creative engine to make learning fun!We are in the growth stage, and looking for a hands-on CONTENT CREATOR to join our creative team.Our ideal candidate is someone that understands there are no limits in terms of creative expression, and can push the boundaries with fun and engaging content for both our soclial, and advertising channels.A typical day consists of:- Organzing, planning and shooting creative content.- Editing and cutting content for various channels and platforms.- Identifying trends in fonts and music.- Applying motion graphics and text to illuminate brandQualifications and skills: - Thrives on building and developing creative content- Strong attention to trends- Excellent at identifying a story and narrative- Can work with creative teams- Effective personal and social skills- Enjoys working in a growing, evolving, entrepreneurial environment- Strong English communication skills, written and oral- Works quickly in Final Cut or Adobe Premiere- Knows After Effects for titling and motion graphicsBenefits & Perks: We truly feel that happy employees make the best employees!
