Pclass # C9999Job SummaryVancouver Community College (VCC) Early Childhood Education department is seeking a part-time Early Childhood Education (ECE) Instructor.Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesThe ECE Instructor will:

  • Deliver instruction that meets the VCC ECE Basic and Post-Basic curriculum to the current cohorts of international and domestic ECCE students
  • Plan the daily classes to meet the general and individual needs of students
  • Evaluate student performance
  • Monitor and review students during practicum placements if needed
QualificationsThe ideal candidate must possess the following education, experience, and competences:
  • Early Childhood Education Diploma
  • BA, MA, or MEd in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of related practical work experience
  • Some experience in adult education and the working knowledge of diverse instructional strategies
  • Ability to develop rapport with diverse learners (youth and matured students international and domestic students)
