About the roleReporting to our Director, Supply Chain, you’ll have the opportunity to be a change agent for the construction industry and Nexii by using your best judgement and practicing high ethical standards in all our corporate procurement needs. We’ll lean on you to research suppliers, materials, other products and services as required by the company, and to develop and conduct formal competitive processes, requirements, evaluation matrixes, and manage the processes to closing. You will provide support to the Director for maintaining and updating procurement policies, processes and practices as well as implementation and training to all plants. Day to day, you’ll collaborate with Finance, Architecture & Engineering, Client Experience, and Manufacturing teams to ensure all supply chain needs are met both in a timely manner, and with all necessary materials and equipment needed.What you’ll need:
  • Bachelors degree and experience in corporate procurement for a international manufacturing company
  • Skill in liaising with suppliers to ensure best value is achieved
  • High level negotiation and external communication skills
  • Experience in developing a variety of agreements to strategically address the long term needs of the entire organization, including franchise plants or stores
  • Contract management experience
  • A desire to ensure best practices are implemented and maintained in all procurement activities
  • Ability to represent Nexii to external stakeholders and build a portfolio of suppliers who will act as strong partner’s for Nexii’s future
  • Understanding and willingness to learn and apply procurement law and practices
  • Desire to provide guidance and support to the entire organization on procurement related matters
  • Ability to practice diplomacy when representing Nexii and mitigate risks

  • Experience with supply chain at a sustainable building company
  • High level leadership capabilities
  • Desire to provide guidance to junior team members and support in solving complex business problems
