Job Description

Overview: We are a mobile-game studio that creates choose-your-own-adventure visual novels. Our games are romance-based and geared towards women aged 18-45. We just launched a brand-new game on Google Play and we’re looking for a writer to join the team.Job Summary: The duties of this position are to write exclusively steamy, romantic scenes. You will be working with an editor to create these scenes, with different levels of intimacy and spice and genre, for our upcoming stories.You will be provided general context of the story and scene. For example: who the characters are, their relationship to each other, and what sort of scene is called for.The scenes must be:

  • Written in screenplay format.
  • Written from the First-person POV of a straight female.
  • Written in Second-Person POV when in a Narrator Voice.
  • ~10-35 lines.
  • Maximum 20 words/line.
What we are looking for: The ideal candidate must be capable of writing quality physical intimacy, emotional chemistry, and dialogue. We have a general outline of how these scenes should go but we highly appreciate creativity approaches. It is an unique and challenging format, even for otherwise talented prose writers, so fresh takes and ability are highly valued.Requirements:
  • Strong creative writing skills
  • Passion for writing romance and “steamy” stories
  • Portfolio of quality “steamy” scenes

Salary:
  • Per word basis
