Equivalent ExperienceRemote Credit Advisor - Top 5 Bank in Canada$28 an hour6 month contract to start – hired after 6 month contractEquipment provided – fully remote – must be able to pick up equipment from the head office in Moncton - New Brunswick, Montreal – Quebec, Toronto – Ontario, Winnipeg – Manitoba, Vancouver – British ColumbiaDescription:must have experience with secured and unsecured credit $10,000- $25,000+What is the opportunityThis is a first point of contact specialized sales role that allows you the freedom to provide “out of the box” creative credit solutions and credit advice to personal banking clients. Providing a superior experience through engaging clients in conversation and by using active listening skills and effective probing questions to identify & understand the clients’ immediate and future credit requirements and their short and long term financial goals. With the clients’ total borrowing needs in mind, you will provide appropriate financial advice and suggest financial products and service solutions to meet the needs of a diverse client base. This is a full-time and shift oriented role with an opportunity to potentially work from home. What will you do day to day

• Provides responsive, sales/service to clients through providing information and financial advice on a wide variety of personal lending products & services
• Provides a positive client experience through consistent demonstration of the Four Essentials of Customer Care
• Take ownership of and provides effective first point of contact resolution
• Engages clients in genuine conversation to effectively identify & address their primary need and provides clients with relevant financial advice and solutions to meet their needs
• Completes and decisions telephone credit applications for personal banking clients
• Provides superior, responsive execution and delivery of tailored client transactions
• Refers clients to appropriate partners as needed, to meet their needs
• Demonstrates commitment to learning and professional development

Additional Skills & Qualifications:Must Have:

• Previous proven lending experience, working with an active delegated lending authority, completion and decisions credit applications
• Credit advice experience at another bank
• Taking credit applications, delegated lending authority and MAKE CREDIT DECISIONS
• 5 C’s of credit, business casing
• Decline/approve decisions, evaluate risk based on that
• NO pre-approved credit, experience with unsecured credit $10,000- $25,000+
• Taking applications and within credit adjudication working the process through and calling/present back to the client on
• Products: credit/lending- auto car loans and understand credit process, Home equity financing, renewing mortgages and giving advice on mortgages
• Years experience: 2+ in Canada
• Personal lending versus business
• Call volumes: 20 clients/day, follow-ups and taking calls
• Strong English oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently as a Remote Office Employee (ROE), working in your home office with proven time management, organizational and problem solving skills
• Must be able to meet with the technological and confidentiality requirements of the role (i.e., private and quiet space, Internet connectivity, etc.)
• Continued employment is conditional upon successful completion of the DLA training, and attaining DLA
• Customer Service experience and strong sales orientation with a passion for fulfilling on client needs
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills as well as entrepreneurial, self-motivated to achieve results
• Team player who contributes to team sales plans
• Call center/contact center experience is a nice to have or some of the class has this
• Must be able to meet with the technological requirements for the role (i.e. private and quiet space, Internet connectivity)
