Dedicated to safety, excellence, innovation, and people, we are committed to continuously improving the west coast travel experience of our customers.CREWING ADVISORHorseshoe BayThe Crewing Advisor develops both the long and short term planning efforts that ensure Crewing Services meets operational requirements and Company objectives through the provision of accurate, cost effective and timely staff planning/scheduling services in accordance with operational policy, collective agreement and regulatory rules and requirements for vessels and shore positions. In this role you will support the crew schedulers with day to day scheduling challenges as well as work closely with the Crewing Officer and Manager to develop future scheduling efficiencies.You bring a Post-Secondary education in a related field or a suitable combination of education and office related experience. Familiar with staff scheduling systems is an asset. You have strong organizational and planning skills. A comprehensive understanding of company policies and regulatory rules and being well versed with BCFS systems utilized in crewing offices, including Smart Time, Oracle HR, and Cognos Reporting as well as 3-5 years office experience, preferably in a complex unionized environment. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office programs with emphasis on the use of Excel spreadsheets.The aptitude to think outside of the box in order to creatively provide recommendations and solutions to problems that impact our employees and the efficient delivery of services to our customers is considered an asset.
