Be part of a dynamic company with thirty years' experience trailblazing in the children's recreation business.Pedalheads is a Vancouver-based provider of innovative bike, swim, and multi-sport programs for kids across Canada and the U.S. Our delivery of high-quality camps and lessons that promote kids' health and development has earned us a reputation for excellence in the communities that we serve.Come visit our website at www.pedalheads.com.As we ramp up to our winter & spring camp registrations starting, we are looking for several upbeat, enthusiastic seasonal customer care associates to join our office.RESPONSIBILITIESTaking program registrations and entering customer information into our registration database.Answering telephone calls and email inquiries, which may include registration requests, inquiries, promoting our programs, processing payments and refunds, and addressing any questions or concerns families may have.Monitoring and responding to incoming emails in a prompt manner.Ensuring that any make-up lesson or reschedule requests for lessons or camps are processed efficiently.Filing documents.Assisting the office manager with assigned administrative tasksThis is a great opportunity for students looking to gain experience with customer service, administration, sales, and business. We offer administrative training, a great team environment, and a reference at the end of employment.This position requires a person who is personable, responsible, and detail-oriented. Seasonal customer care associates must possess the ability to multi-task while remaining flexible and level-headed in a fast-paced and demanding environment.WORK HOURSFrom the date of hire, through to April, hours will be part-time at our office in Vancouver. We can work around school/exam schedules for January to May, but you must be available to commit to at least eight hours/week between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.From May to August, our office becomes much busier. Full-time hours may be available at this point but will be based on performance and business needs. The majority of working hours will fall between Mondays and Fridays, 5 a.m. and 8 p.m., and/or Saturday and Sunday shifts between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONSFun, chatty, and outgoing!Superb customer service skills and an upbeat phone/online personality.Extraordinary communication skills, both verbal and written.Personable and responsible.Great attention to detail.Excellent team player and ability to work independently.Great organizational and time-management skills.Completion of Grade 12 required.Post-secondary education is an asset.Minimum one year of customer service experience.Experience in an office environment is an asset.Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (especially Excel) an asset.Fluency in a second language, particularly French or Mandarin, is an asset.Starting Wage: $15.50-$17Pedalheads is committed to creating and upholding a diverse, inclusive and equitable environment that is respectful and welcoming to everyone.
