Job Description

Spare is scaling and we are looking for a Customer Knowledge Specialist to join our Customer Success Team!_We are a remote-first company and this position is remote optional across Canada._*About this Role ✨*As a Customer Knowledge Specialist, you will...

  • Own Spare’s customer knowledge-base, including all of our customer guides, help.sparelabs.com, and training videos;
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts internally and externally, to write, revise, and organize product documentation to provide our clients with a rich knowledge base and support;
  • Be the strategic leader in customer education, help us define our philosophy and training processes, and collaboratively create a roadmap for product education;
  • Understand our customer pain points, and help them get the most out of our training documentation and time with their Customer Success Managers;
  • Support internal product and industry training as an expert in all things Spare and transit;
  • Be an advocate for instructional design for accessibility, ensuring you are designing eLearning that is accessible for everyone.
*About You ✨*
  • You have been in a Customer Knowledge Specialist or similar role previously in a software/technology company;
  • You have written insightful and compelling content for customer education purposes in a tech focused company (Bonus if in the SAAS space);
  • Have the ability to translate technical complex information into easily understandable educational content;
  • You are a great communicator, including written, verbal, and in presentation format;
  • You are passionate about learning and are excited about transportation (especially accessible and sustainable transportation systems);
  • Experience in adjacent fields such as Customer Success Management, Customer Support, Marketing, or Learning & Development considered an asset.
