Every program in the FHCS has a field placement component making it one of the most hands-on Faculties in the University. Not only does this make for a rich student experience, but it also enhances the social and economic development of the region.Reporting to the Provost and Vice-President Academic, the Dean will lead the academic and administrative vision for FHCS in alignment with MacEwan’s values and goals. You will work collaboratively with faculty, staff, other Deans and university members to develop innovative new certificates, diplomas, and degrees to ensure graduates are competitive and relevant, differentiating FHCS’s unique offerings in an increasingly competitive post-secondary marketKnowledge and SkillsAs the ideal candidate, you are recognized as an inclusive leader and excellent communicator. You bring a strong record of teaching and scholarship, and experience as a chair, associate dean, or dean in a student-focused institution.
