Delivery Success RepresentativeWho We AreFresh Prep is Western Canada’s homegrown meal kit delivery service. We help people throughout B.C. make world-class dinners with fresh, pre-cut and pre-portioned ingredients along with an extended menu of over 100 add-ons from local suppliers delivered weekly to your door.From sourcing quality local goods, to delivering in reusable, recyclable and compostable packaging, we believe it’s possible to make convenient eating healthy and sustainable for the community we live in.In the past few years, we have collected first place awards for The Georgia Straight’s Golden Plates (2019 and 2020) in addition to winning the 23rd and 24th Annual Best of Vancouver award for Best Meal Kit Service as voted by readers (2018 and 2019). What Youll Be Doing
  • Assess likely late deliveries properly and accurately and communicate them in a timely manner to customers.
  • Ensure that customers with a failed delivery are returned to in an efficient manner.
  • You’ll use your attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure your work is accurate.
  • You will be a power user with Onfleet, our live dispatch application.
  • You will refer to and make good use of an ongoing list of customers with specific delivery requirements, recurrent issues, or other special needs, ensuring that we can offer the highest delivery standard possible, whether by adjusting routing or communicating directly with drivers.
  • You’ll continuously monitor delivery efficiency and facilitate communication between drivers and customers where needed.
  • You’ll answer phone calls, texts, and urgent customer inquiries regarding their delivery and address as many as possible.
  • You’ll make outbound calls to customers to assist drivers when they are out on the road delivering and cannot reach a customer.
  • You’ll monitor driver delivery errors and follow-up accordingly
  • Respond to complaints with thoroughness and accuracy.
  • Adhere to corporate and departmental policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as required
What We Are Looking ForThis individual is interested in both logistics and customer service. They thrive in a fast-paced environment and can think quickly and strategically on their feet. They contribute toward facilitating a timely and positive customer delivery experience by assisting customers experiencing delivery issues in real time. They pull ETAs, answer questions, estimate lates, and route redeliveries. They follow departmental processes and standard operating procedures to a high standard. They are excellent with people but don’t sweat the small stuff.
  • You have a two-year diploma or better, or equivalent experience demonstrating critical thinking and problem solving skills and fluent English writing and speaking skills. Communication is key for this role.
  • You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are able to prioritize tasks as per importance.
  • You’re tech savvy with good command of Google Suite, particularly spreadsheets, and Slack with an ability to quickly learn new software. You’re a strong, fast typist.
  • You have a strong track record of delivering results in a challenging environment.
  • You are confident in communicating clearly with diverse individuals while ensuring the message is received and understood.
  • You have a positive, respectful attitude with good people skills.
  • You are reliable and available to work a consistent schedule at 40 hours per week.
    • Weekends, evenings, and holidays will be required.
  • You have your own laptop you can use for work and a comfortable space to work from home, or are able to work full-time from our office in either NE Calgary or East Vancouver.
