The Development Intern position will provide opportunities to participate in and learn more about the development best practices and standards, technical design and troubleshooting, required to deliver world-class web sites for world-class brands. You'll work as a member of the technical and artistic team that designs, implements, deploys and maintains sites for some of the largest and most recognizable brands in the world.This 12-week internship commences September 13, 2021. Deadline to apply for this internship is July 9, 2021.You Will:Assist with implementation of project architecture, standards and processesParticipate in implementation, testing and deployment of new sitesParticipate in ongoing maintenance activitiesAssist with client interactions and work with the account and project teamsAssist in live debugging of the sitesAttend regular project technical team meetingsAssist with development of project codeCreate and maintain project documentation, in accordance with established standardsYou Have:Programming skills in Java, SQL, Javascript, CSS and HTMLAbility to work independently and to exercise strong technical judgmentExperience with or awareness of version control systems and web serversFamiliarity with Linux or other Unix-like operating systemsInterest in learning new technologiesStrong focus on client careExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven problem solving and trouble-shooting skillsAbility and desire to thrive in a fast-paced, client-services environment
