We expect amazing things from each other, and through tight collaboration, we achieve greatness.About the Role – Digital Account ManagerWere looking for an experienced Digital Account Manager to join our team—a talented facilitator with the ability to make clients feel appreciated and heard while working within the realities of software development projects. This role is for an imaginative thinker who can identify new opportunities for working with our existing clients while also being able to help clear the way for our teams to deliver successfully on our current commitments. We’re looking for a charismatic team player whos as passionate about solving problems as we are. Thoughtfulness, patience, a sense of humour, and an eye for detail are key.What you’ll be doing

  • Owning and nurturing client relationships across our full portfolio of projects—ensuring our clients are happy, engaged, and informed about the next steps on their project.
  • Reporting to the Director of Project Management, liaising with the Business Development team, and working shoulder-to-shoulder with our project managers on active projects—from discovery through project close-out—to assist in managing our clients expectations regarding scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Identifying, scoping, and pitching new projects for our existing clients in collaboration with the project management and business development teams.
  • Documenting and updating account details and key points of contact in order to better support the creation of new engagements with those clients.
  • Negotiating contracts, facilitating change request discussions, and managing invoicing.
  • Creating reports, analysis, and recommendations for our clients.
  • Contributing to company-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and qualifications
  • Experience: 2+ years of client-facing Product/Project/Account Management experience in a software development context.
  • Emotional intelligence: you know how to ask the right questions to the right people at the right time.
  • Temperament: youre calm, cool, and collected. You have a track record of handling difficult conversations and the potential for conflict with grace and without losing sight of how to establish a win-win outcome.
  • Imagination: not only can you come up with compelling ideas for new client projects, but youre also capable of developing clear, pragmatic plans for how to get there.
  • Collaboration: lone wolves need not apply. Youre attracted to roles where youre able to pull your own weight as an integrated member of a high-functioning team.
  • Communication: your written and verbal communication is exemplary, persuasive, honest, direct, and in the best interests of the company-client relationship. You understand how to go to bat for clients when communicating with the team, and how to go to bat for the team when interacting with clients.
Hiring Process

  • If you’re shortlisted, we’ll schedule a video interview with our Director of Project Management.
  • If the first call goes well, we’ll contact you to schedule a longer conversation where youll meet more members of our PM and Business Development teams. For this call, we’ll ask that you prepare a short (~10-15min) pitch presentation, and well discuss a mock project/client management scenario and your recommendations for resolving the situation.
  • After conducting all interviews, we’ll come to a decision.
