Yervana’s two-sided marketplace enables straightforward booking via our website or app.Yervana is a remote company, based out of Vancouver. This job is open to applicants based in BC or Alberta.JOB DESCRIPTION: Yervana is looking for a highly motivated Digital Ads Specialist to join our team. This person will report to the Marketing Manager and work closely with the business team. This role is a 6-month contract with the potential for an extension.The Digital Ads Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing and reporting on paid digital campaigns throughout our busy summer season. Your goal will be to increase bookings, while collaborating with the data team to ensure all metrics are collected.Our ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with proven experience in paid digital advertising, specifically in Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads and other relevant ad channels.You thrive on optimization, driving down cost per click and upping conversion rates. Your keen interest in digital marketing has you keeping a close eye on industry trends, and your curiosity means you’re willing to test out different tactics to reach our goals.While the focus of this role is on paid media, as a small, fast-paced team, we’re looking for someone who is happy to step in and lend a hand in other areas on the marketing / business side when needed.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and launch paid digital ad campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, affiliate ads
  • Research and set up new ad platforms relevant to Yervana’s key audiences, set up campaign tracking in collaboration with the data team and carry out quality assurance checks
  • Monitor, track and optimize campaign performance on a day-to-day basis to ensure delivery is within budget and goals are achieved
  • Conduct keyword, market and competitor research, test segment and placement inclusions & exclusions, and make ad creative adjustments to achieve the best results
  • Measure and identify trends and insights, and provide recommendations on ad spend optimization to ensure the right content is reaching the right audience via the right channels
  • Work with the content and marketing team to create and adapt original content into ad copy for social media platforms
  • Generate reports based on ad campaign outcomes across multiple channels, analyze data and summarize results for key stakeholders
  • Support the business and marketing teams in other areas where needed
What we’re looking for:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, Business, Economics, or related analytics fields)
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in paid digital marketing or PPC
  • In depth knowledge of Facebook advertising and Google Ads with experience in both display and search campaigns
  • Familiarity across other ad networks and ability to assess relevant platforms (including Linkedin, TikTok, Pinterest, Instagram, content affiliates, search etc.)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and budgets with shifting priorities
  • Up-to-date understanding of ad serving technologies, best practices, strategies and tactics relevant to digital marketing and online advertising
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail, with experience composing and proofing ad materials
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently, while collaborating with team members across Western Canada
Bonus points for:
  • An interest in outdoor adventure or familiarity within the tourism industry
  • Expertise in B2C marketing
  • Experience in other areas of digital marketing, e.g. funnel management, SEO, or marketing automation
  • An eye for high quality visuals and creative
