The Digital Coordinator provides administrative support to the Digital Manager. Specifically, this person is responsible for coordinating Digital & Direct Sales programs, campaigns, and projects. This role also manages department content development processes and supports the department’s operational needs.Success in this role is defined by delivering tasks/projects in a timely manner and maintaining a solid handle on the metrics, deadlines, and requirements for each task/project. In this role, responsibilities may include but are not limited to: • Lead administrative tasks and duties for the Digital & Direct Sales Department • Work directly with the Marketing/Creative teams on content needs, including: Planning and coordination of printed collateral and digital assets Assist with set up and tracking of digital advertising campaigns Track the performance of seasonal, marketing, and transactional email campaigns Work with Copywriter on any copy changes or needs for the website, collateral or emails Create and track timelines, milestones, and deadlines for initiatives/projects in Asana and Jira Request any needed images and work with the photography team Scan and understand customer personas and emerging trends to inform content strategy • Manage and coordinate acquisition campaigns • Create seasonal shop memos and organize all shop deliveries for collateral, signage etc. • Facilitate seasonal surveys and prepare findings in a summary report • Coordinate department events, conferences, and meetings • Order packing supplies, tablecloths, and other office supplies as needed • Process donation requests and ‘no-charge orders’ along with the tracking • Assist and collaborate with Customer Service Team Leads on CSR training (creation and execution) • Perform other administrative duties, reports and special projects assigned by Digital Operations Manager or Director of Digital & Direct Sales • Back up support for Customer Care Manager and Customer Care Team Leads for providing exceptional customer service through chat, email, and phone communication and other service channels, ensuring customer expectations are met in accordance with SLA. • Conduct interview and support Customer Care manager/Team Leads with hiring and onboarding of seasonal CSRs.

  • Keep internal policies and SOPs updated. • Prepare reports for different departments or Executive Team • Manage all cheque payments and processing and liaise directly with Finance Department The successful candidate must have: • Very detail-oriented and organized • Good with large datasets and transactional data • High degree of organization, planning, and multi-tasking skills • Solution-oriented mindset • Flexibility and adaptability to changes in tasks • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Exceptional customer service and people skills • Sales drive and a passion for selling high-quality chocolates • Persistence when facing objections and challenges • Ability to work in a team atmosphere • Intermediate computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge, including complex formulas and pivot tables • Experience with Magento Cloud is an asset • Experience with CRM systems and/or call centers Purdys Chocolatier recognizes the value of skills and knowledge gained outside of formal education and paid employment.
