The right candidate will play an integral part in creating and implementing Plastk’s digital marketing plan. In this role, you will be tasked with leading marketing campaigns across channels with a focus on digital acquisitions and driving growth of our credit card and rewards program portfolio.As a Senior Digital Marketing Analyst, you will help manage growth and acquisition campaigns that focus on acquisition metrics such as conversions rates, cost per acquisition (CPA) and return on ad spend (ROAS). The ideal candidate understands how to derive ROAS and can prove it by demonstrating an understanding and application of online direct response marketing and optimization techniques. In this role, you will work closely with other team and business unit colleagues to manage acquisition marketing campaigns, with specific focus on mobile, social and/or display channels. This will be a fun and fast paced role so we are looking for an enthusiastic and detail oriented team-player to join our entrepreneurial team.Required Experience:

  • At least 3+ years of online media/marketing experience running paid acquisition campaigns such as: paid social or search, native, direct online display, RTB display, mobile marketing, affiliate marketing
  • Bachelors degree is preferred
  • Experience writing and creating content
  • Ability to analyze, quantify, and report campaign results
  • Excellent editing skills and keen eye for detail
  • Initiate drive by staying up to date in current industry trends
  • Strong understanding of marketing key performance indicators (KPIs) and how it pertains to the success of marketing activities
  • Excels in a dynamic, data-driven, metrics-oriented environment
  • Quick to learn new topics and demonstrates ability to work in a fast paced and evolving environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with regular check-in
  • Exceptional communicator (written and oral) with the ability to build positive relationships
  • High energy, low ego. Works with colleagues and peers in a professional and collaborative style
  • Agency account or client experience a plus
  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Google suit
  • Experience using any of the following marketing tech platforms such as: Omniture, Google Analytics, Kenshoo, DFA, Conversant, HasOffers/Tune, Kochava, Nanigans, or Power Editor
Technical:
  • Knowledge of all social media platforms and create campaigns and search capability
  • Affiliate marketing/management
  • Comfortable with marketing tactics such as email campaigns, create and manage HTML etc
  • A/B page testing and conversion optimization (i.e.GOptimize)
  • Tag management, particularly through Google Tag manager (GTM)
  • Technical/On-page SEO/Content management
  • Comfortable with database pulls or SQL is preferred
  • Report on, provide analysis, and implement ongoing optimization of marketing channels
  • Research, identify, and implement new online traffic and customer acquisition/conversion opportunities
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite and InDesign
  • Proficient in Social Ads / PPC / SEO / Display Ads / Remarketing
  • Experience using any of the following marketing tech platforms such as: Omniture, Google Analytics, Kenshoo, DFA, Conversant, HasOffers/Tune, Kochava, Nanigans, or Power Editor
Duties:
  • Manage the day-to-day of online direct response and acquisition campaigns so that they meet the target KPI
  • Adjust and optimize marketing campaigns and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions in order to hit ROAS target
  • Develop and implement structured media plans that will deliver against advertising goals and budgets
  • Manage channels that include, but are not limited to, GoogleAds, Facebook advertising, and Instagram and other social Media channels
  • Collaborate with sales team to gather client feedback and optimize marketing messaging
  • Assist in creating new ad copy and imagery for paid and organic social media posts
  • Assist with on-boarding and growing affiliate
  • Create reports and track relevant KPIs and ROIs for all digital marketing and trackable campaigns
  • Actively share data and results with stakeholders—Identify trends and patterns that can be used to enhance the success of current and future campaigns
  • Measure and track the overall progress of digital marketing efforts—Provide program analysis, user feedback, and other meaningful data to guide the development of sound plans
  • Work cross functionally with our product team to execute growth strategies and support acquisition goals
  • Develop pro-active ideas and solutions to meet business objectives
  • Develop effective KPIs for affiliate and influencer campaigns
  • Customization and maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools to measure program-specific KPIs, with regular QA checks on the data
  • Quantitative and qualitative research to explore questions posed by clients
  • Attend industry events
Thought Leadership and Product Innovation Support:
  • Introduction of new practices and cross-functional processes
  • Development of new metrics to better illustrate the efficacy of our programs
  • Management of vendors – QA and new feature development and implementation
  • Publishing of data trends, industry insights, and other thought leadership pieces
